Grey EMEA (2003)

Visuals archive (2003) – Grey Europe (EMEA) Christmas Party, London – I remember this venue well, the dance floor overlooked Buckingham Palace Gardens and it was a time when you would have a chiller lorry parked outside full of Bud. I also remember my old rack mounted Blue & White PowerMac weighed an absolute ton, a great machine but a killer to move around. This was one of the last shows I used VDMX2 with its fixed layout. Not long after Vidvox introduced VDMX5 which felt very confusing with its modular approach, now I wouldn’t be without it.

Set up: Two Sanyo beamers back-to-back, PowerMac G3 Blue & White running VDMX2, VGA splitter, video content 320x240 pixels.
